Procurement organisation and social enterprise, Fusion21, has appointed Diamond Fire Safety to its national Building Safety & Compliance Framework – worth up to £880m over four years.
The framework has been designed and positioned to meet emerging requirements, particularly in relation to fire safety and the building safety agenda. Suppliers were assessed for their skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours.
The scope of the framework covers surveys, planned and responsive maintenance, installation and upgrades.
Phil Woodhead, Category Manager at Fusion21, said. “We are delighted to welcome all of the new suppliers onto the framework, including Diamond Fire Safety. The tender process was highly competitive and has identified the best contractors for our members to use.
"A further, real benefit to our members and their communities is the social value delivery that is aligned to organisational priorities and can be monitored and reported against for all call offs.”
Tim Sawka, Pre-contract Director for Diamond Fire Safety, added: “This is the second Fusion21 framework we have been appointed to. We will be offering our skills and expertise in relation to passive fire protection, specifically the safe installation of fire doors ensuring compliance with the latest legislation.”
